Finished in 10:08. Pretty happy with it. Push ups went unbroken but stepping down on some box jumps slowed me down. Jump Rope: 0:10:00 (+48 pts) just practicing double unders. I did 27,22,20 as my best consecutive rounds today. I'm going to end every workout from now on with these. 15 straight before I stop. When I get that easily I'll increase to 20,25,30 etc. |

here's the second part of tonights workout
the bear complex. We just did 5 reps for the first 4 rounds and I did the 7 on the last. Here's a video from round 2. Although my clean is light weight, I think it's much smoother than it has been in the past. The weight was only 95 but to get through this whole workout I had to keep it relatively light. Let me know if you guys have any tips. Barbell Squat: 45 lb x 15 reps (+39 pts) 85 lb x 5 reps (+41 pts) 105 lb x 5 reps (+47 pts) 125 lb x 5 reps (+54 pts) 105 lb x 10 reps (+55 pts) 105 lb x 10 reps (+55 pts) 105 lb x 10 reps (+55 pts) 105 lb x 10 reps (+55 pts) 105 lb x 10 reps (+55 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts) Wendler squat deload day. The last 5 sets were part of the bear complex wod. Front Barbell Squat: 95 lb x 5 reps (+50 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+50 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+50 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+50 pts) 95 lb x 5 reps (+50 pts) Push Press: 95 lb x 10 reps (+44 pts) 95 lb x 10 reps (+44 pts) 95 lb x 10 reps (+44 pts) 95 lb x 10 reps (+44 pts) 95 lb x 10 reps (+44 pts) You'll see double the reps here since each cycle of the bear complex has 2 push presses Jump Rope: 0:05:00 (+24 pts) Double under practice. I got 49 consecutive. I psyched myself out when I got close to my 50 rep PR. |

Today was the start of the second cycle. Today was 5+ reps of 105 press. I got 12. I should steadily increase for a while on this.It's the lower body stuff I'll stall on first. Ring Dip: 9 reps (+66 pts) 9 reps (+66 pts) 9 reps (+66 pts) 9 reps (+66 pts) 9 reps (+66 pts) all done unbroken still very tough in the later rounds Barbell Lunges: 45 lb x 20 reps (+35 pts) 45 lb x 20 reps (+35 pts) 45 lb x 20 reps (+35 pts) 45 lb x 20 reps (+35 pts) 45 lb x 20 reps (+35 pts) These are brutal on the shoulders and legs. We hold a 45lb plate over head. Jump Rope: 0:00:30 (+5 pts) 0:00:30 (+5 pts) 0:00:30 (+5 pts) 0:00:30 (+5 pts) 0:00:30 (+5 pts) Only broke a few times on the double unders. make sure you lock those arms out on the bottom. youre making it more of a bicep workout by pulling before you get down.

Your burpee stance seems too wide to me when your getting up. Other than that good work.
