Now I'm trying my best to put on some muscle without gaining much fat. We'll see how it goes over the next few months.

I'm back to a linear strength program with shorter more power based metcons and a lot more food.

Maybe I'll do it. Do you think that's too much? Prob not not if Monday's are just squat, press, chin up like this program calls for.

I dont think its too much. If it starts hampering your recovery just cut it down to sets of 3 instead of 5.

Oh and heres the squat vid. Failed it the first time cause the bar started slipping, but got it on number 2. Form wasnt good, but its a max effort, so whatever.

yea I would really really like to be about 175 if not more next year with the same bf I'm 165 now. I have some goals for the next year. Lets see how doable they are

current is first and goal is second

Bench 1rm 205 I'd like to get to 225
Power Clean 190- 215
Hang clean 140-165
Press 130-150
Deadlift 345-400
Squat 230-300
Front Squat 160-205
Push Press 165-200

Ring dips 12-20
Hand stand push ups 5-12
Pull ups 8-12
Double unders 64-100

There are probably some other things too but I'm forgetting them. If you think of any I may have forgotten feel free to let me know. These are probably my more popular movements so they came to mind. My 30th bday is sept 27th and my goal is to reach these numbers by my 31st.

How'd you build your reps on the pullups? Do you always go that narrow or do you switch it up?

I pretty much just to regular grip pull ups and chin ups. I don't cheat at all anymore. I go down until my arms are completely extended.

If I were you I would work on jumping up, holding it and slowly lowering yourself down. Do this a few times a week and just keep trying to get it.

press is strict press. pretty much military press. I touch the top of my chest after each rep, something many people dont do. Push press is the same thing but you dip down a bit in the knees to get the legs involved.

I'm convinced I would have gone past making people look bad on playground bball courts if I was 6'3 lol. That was my goal height but I ended up the same as you lol.

I love photos of people's groceries. I was going to do it the other day but I keep a lot of my food in the garage fridge and didn't feel like setting it up and bringing it back down.

I want to grow but I'm scared of getting fat. Not sure why thought because it's not like it will happen over night. I just need to monitor myself.

I love that I'm married and I can get sloppy and fat if its conducive to my lifting goals. I wont let it ever get too out of hand, but its comforting to know I can if I want...

You're the face of a company now. Don't let it get too bad. I'd be ok with a little belly fat if I'm growing everywhere else too. I'm just worried about it getting out of hand. I'll see how if goes though

My diet now is pretty much this:

all meats, more beef than in the past
eggs
regular potatoes, sweet potatoes
lots of olive oil, coconut oil
avocados
kale
broccoli
peppers
onions
whole milk

I need to stop being an idiot and wake up in time to make big breakfasts though.
