Yep, you're right, I was confused. Compression shirt you would want a large, casual you would want an xl probably. You could rock a large, but it'll be pretty tight. That's what I've been wearing and it's still comfortable but I'd probably want an xl if I were ever going to wear it out and about. Then again I'm 5'10'' 210 but kind of fat...

See the post by glight and the multipage thread about his company?

I can vouch for the following

compression shorts
compression socks
wrist straps
t-shirt

Greg is very quick with shipping. Literally had my order in 2 days.

best power cleans yet. I noticed I am finally catching the bar in almost the perfect spot. Not collarbone contact and all on the shoulders. Elbow speed was very good for my power clean self esteem lol. Rep two was the best imo

Power Clean:
95 lb x 10 reps (+44 pts)
135 lb x 5 reps (+49 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
165 lb x 3 reps (+48 pts)
best power cleans yet. Good elbow speed and learned out to catch it on my shoulders.

Hang Clean:
120 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts)
120 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts)
120 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts)
120 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts)
120 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts)
120 lb x 5 reps (+44 pts)
wod 6 rounds. 5 120 hang cleans, 10 push ups. finished on 7:50 which was very slow but I focused on my form, specifically the catch which slowed down the movement.

Push-Up:
10 reps (+15 pts)
10 reps (+15 pts)
10 reps (+15 pts)
10 reps (+15 pts)
10 reps (+15 pts)
10 reps (+15 pts)

Sit-Up:
100 reps (+50 pts)

Double Under Jump Rope:
0:02:00 (+12 pts)
75 reps. Trash. Cramped in my calf.

Form looks good. I notice some lifters bend their knees a little bit more to help get under the bar but I guess that would be cheating more toward a squat clean.

good work man!
Being able to drop the bar is a luxury most people don't have. For one, it's extra effort against your numbers,(since he is timing his workouts) as well as using energy to bring it back down. Just my opinion.

Why does it annoy you? You've either never clean heavy or you don't mind upping your risk for injury.

I'd rather not have 165lbs ripping down on my hands when I specifically bought bumper plates and rubber mats to do so. Not to mention the extra effort it takes to lower the weight in a controlled fashion.

pretty much. Although on my heavy lifts I don't time them. It would take a ton of energy out of me though.

Those power cleans look really easy for you. I'd be surprised if you couldnt do a triple at 185.

I think you might be right. Next week I'll try for 170 and see how it feels. I did 165 a while back and it felt much heavier. I still don't really need to use all my power to get it up yet. I am so happy I am finally catching it better though. I guess I was always scared it would land bad and hurt but this felt much better.

The heavier it is the less it usually hurts on the catch, at least for me. Reason being that you dont pull it nearly as high so you just quickly slide under the bar as opposed to having it go up high and then land on you.

There's some good form in this vid that may help with your lifts. Especially at 1:30 on.

Yea it makes sense. I have my friend coming by tonight to do yesterdays workout. Hopefully he can get it down.
