Are you able to drop the weight? I think we should stick with things that everyone can do in their gyms.

Yea go for it then. Conditioning wise it wasn't hard. It was just heavy for me.

One friend beat me with like 6:41 and the other was 11:15 or so

Those were basically push press man. Made it harder on yourself. A jerk is finishing with he weight at the top and your knees bent, essentially dropping under the weight. Jerk is finishing straight legged.

Ill do grace this week. Maybe Friday and ill film it. I go straight from the clean straight into the jerk. I think that's the key.

Dude, **** your diet. Eat anything in sight. I was 197 on July 24 and I'm 228 today and I wasn't exactly a bean pole to begin with.

Am I fatter? Maybe a little, but I'm a **** of a lot stronger and the progress is going to be a lot more efficient doing it like this and then cutting down than vs a slow clean bulk.

I was going to say the same thing. His diet is the crutch of his fitness gains.

Just weighted myself. 170 and I drank a lot yesterday so I'm probably a little dehydrated. I'm much happier seeing that number. Who knows why it said 155 the other day.

Today was pretty good.

Did lighter deads and high reps. My training buddy critiqued my lifts and it helped a lot. I didn't take video but we figured out my problem was that my hips were starting way too low so my back would round.

We did
135x10
185x7
225x10x3

Then Romanian
185x6x2
185x8

My back and hamstrings are tore up right now. I think I liked the higher rep lighter deads. It's amazing how sore my upper back is from deads

Tonight's workout pretty happy with it. PR on front squat and almost got past 130x5x3 on the press but I felt any more pushing and I would have tweaked that back muscle I aggravated a month back. The tabata stuff was awful as usual.

Front Barbell Squat:
45 lb x 10 reps (+42 pts)
115 lb x 8 reps (+65 pts)
135 lb x 5 reps (+66 pts)
160 lb x 5 reps (+78 pts)
180 lb x 5 reps (+89 pts)
180 lb x 5 reps (+89 pts)
180 lb x 5 reps (+89 pts)
PR. Felt like I have a decent amount more in me too.

Barbell Squat:
155 lb x 5 reps (+75 pts)
155 lb x 5 reps (+75 pts)
155 lb x 5 reps (+75 pts)
Pause reps. 3 second pause in the hole.

Standing Barbell Shoulder Press (OHP):
45 lb x 12 reps (+59 pts)
85 lb x 10 reps (+76 pts)
110 lb x 5 reps (+76 pts)
130 lb x 5 reps (+87 pts)
130 lb x 5 reps (+87 pts)
130 lb x 4 reps (+80 pts)
Failed on rep 5

Thrusters:
45 lb x 11 reps (+53 pts)
45 lb x 10 reps (+53 pts)
45 lb x 8 reps (+51 pts)
45 lb x 8 reps (+51 pts)
45 lb x 7 reps (+49 pts)
45 lb x 7 reps (+49 pts)
45 lb x 6 reps (+47 pts)
45 lb x 8 reps (+51 pts)
Tabata style. Awful

Toes-To-Bar:
8 reps (+8 pts)
8 reps (+8 pts)
8 reps (+8 pts)
