just own a corporation and write it off. those tax writeoffs are more than whatever you save price shopping for loans

Honestly, I would go Audi. AWD for the winter, so it'll make an easy daily driver, and you can get some nice cars for the $40K. I LOVE the S8. The power, the look, the gadgets, but food for thought...

The standard A8 6.0 liter W12 has EXACTLY the same HP rating (444) but has more torque than the S8s Lambo derived V10. It is also less aggressive looking, can be bought in long wheel base, and has more compliant suspension (Mich roads SUCK). Not to mention, if you really want reliable, you could get a TDI in the A8.

If you want to keep it really cheap, low key but still get gadgets and a nice car, Go Acura TL. Those things are tanks, reliable as anything, look great and with the type S model, have a little more aggression to dish out.

I still vote Audi though... Maybe an S6?

The E90/92 M3 got a substantially higher reliability rating than almost every other BMW IIRC, including the 335i and 328i in the most recent consumer reports survey.
When you compare it to an S class and S8 the 335i will cost much less. Air suspension goes out in the S class? You're looking at abour 1-3 grand easy. 335i issues are blown out of proportion on forums. The new N55s have also had less issues if you're really worried about it. And are you really trying to say an M3 will be cheaper to maintain than a 328i?

You don't have to do **** to an M3, well... at least the E9Xs, they're pretty damn solid.

I bet you get more negative attention for being a ginger than you would for driving a nice car.

My Ride: E30 with an S52
1) Purchase an E46 M3 for <$20,000.
2) Take it to HPF and leave the other $20,000 with them.
3) ???
4) Profit.
