Hi

Can you please advise if these headlight units are plug and play for a 325i with standard Halogen lights and self leveling units?

Regards

Pm'ed.

The only wiring you need to do is for the Angel Eyes. Other than that, pretty much plug and play.

self levelling ? you mean manual levelling via the dial in the headlight switch ? AFAIK these have the motors built in.

FYI .. OEM (bi-)xenon equiped cars have auto levelling which is built into the suspension. They dont have the dial in the headlight switch.

Many thanks for your reply. My Sally has the switch located on the dash, so I would presume manual adjustment. My main worry was that the replacement headlamps have the facility for that purpose. The headlamps seem to automatically test the motors when you turn the headlamps on.

Has anyone with halogen angel eyes figured out how to wire them up so they activate with the central locking?

Last I asked, P45s were still somewhat in their infancy here and no one could really clue me in. Hopefully things have progressed since then!

wouldn't it be better if you add a HID kit to your projectors and wacking in some angel eyes? I think Jason has them both.

Your stock projectors are perfectly fine. All you need is HID's and Angel Eyes thats all.

Easy, you get a Relay Harness, hook up 1 trigger wire to your footwell light that should work.

Do the HID kits come with the triaxial ellipsoid's?

I understand where you guys are coming from, I guess its just me, but my only problem is that I would never take my lights out and bake them to open them up etc etc, I have seen too many examples of moisture getting into the housing.. But in saying that, my 8k HID's look fantastic.

+1

i dont like to modify my original lights even though i would like to have the angel eyes.

i would however buy a new set of light with built in angel eyes, but i think i am going to end up changing to a different car anyway so cant be bothered
