Liked your VW Passat. My father has one either, but the 3BG model, with the same colour.

Love the stretch on the E46, love the drop. Hopping for some "sick wheels" in the future. Any more plans?

Got bored, decided to port and polish my throttlebody. Nothing big, just smooth out the ridge on either side of the butterfly flap.

Used some files, 50 grit, 100 grit, 200 grit, 500 grit, 1000 grit, and 1200 grit sand paper. I used an air grinder with sanding attatchments and polished with brown and white rouge. Than topped it off with some mothers polish.

Nothing fantastic, I dont have any computerized flow testing equiptment. Just bored and wanted to keep myself busy.

LoveBeingUseless, it's the same with everyone of us.

Me, I've got 2 piece wheels, but in 17". 17x8 and 17x10. Daily mode. I'm looking forward for OEM wheels in 19".

Go for it dude.

Got a little box in the mail the other day I am quite excited for this. I ordered a pair of infamous Cosmo Racing Camber Plates. Going to see, what concrete information I can share with you guys about these camber plates and hopefully answer some questions!

I am pleased with build quality. They seem nice and strong, and will definitly do the job. I have to wait till I get my coilover off and mess with the top hat so I can see how the strut bearing and joint will function. Many camber/caster kits come with perches that mount ontop of the spring and then the camber plate sits on top of it. The perch has a built in bearing allowing the strut to swivel.

This picture will clear up a lot of confusion when it comes to cosmo camber plates. Most camber plates come with these "perches" which allow the joint in the camber plate too move freely and has the integral bearing allowing the strut to rotate freely when turning.

Alright on with the pictures.

The the Insert that is included has an inner diameter of 14mm.

The inner diameter of the Strut mount is 18mm and has a depth of 22.3mm deep.

The bottum side of the Strut mount.

Nice ones.

I think I've got a friend named Markx, who has an 320d E46 with 19" BBS-LM and his coilovers already have this thing.

Camber Plates installed. Lowered the front. Feeling much better about the fitment up front now.

I don't know how you drive around here with all the ridiculously severe street turn-ins and such. I scrape with my stock e46 sometimes.

Am I the only one here who thinks tires stretched that much look retarded? Sorry, but the tire stretching is not clean or good looking. Just buy wheels that fit. I just don't understand the trend at all. I can't get over how strange and wrong stretched tires look. Everything else is pretty cool.

Are the cosmos racing camber plates a direct bolt on?
