I am a big Glenlivet fan, my go to bottle is the 18 year, working on a bottle of 15 year now. I love the 21 but can't justify buying it all the time.
Love Jameson gold too for an Irish whiskey.

When I first started smoking cigars, they were a bit harsh for me. A friend of mine said that if I dipped the end of the cigar in my scotch, it would blend the flavors and make both more enjoyable for me. I'm not sure if this is common practice or not, but I like it.

Balvenie 15 year and the doublewood are some of my favorites and are great for the money (under $70). I also love the peaty stuff from Islam, namely laphroaig and lagavulin 16.

I prefer Bourbon. But Glenmorangie is good, and the Green Label is quite interesting. Diamond Crown Maximus cigar.

![]() never dipped a cigar in scotch ![]() seriously your first post sounds trolling.... but in all honesty, drink it because you like it... if you don't, well then don't drink it ![]() you called it a "classy" drink... not really sure what you mean by that but if you want a drink that looks "classy" you can go with a vodka or gin martini, clear only with a twist or dirty lol well you should know by now that it is the only scotch to live by, and regardless of your financial situation you shouldn't waste your money on anything else ![]() ![]() Quote:

Try it with something less expensive.. maybe a $5-10 cigar and some crown royal private. Cut the end, get the cigar going, then soak the bottom 1/2" in the spirit for 30 or so seconds. For me, whiskey and cigars had some clashing notes, so this was a great way to blend the two together and make the combination more enjoyable for myself. It might not be your cup of tea, but it's something different to try.

I am a big fan of Woodfrod Reserve, got a big empty bottle of that in the liquor cabinet. Here are some more bottles I have recently finished off, time to restock the liquor cabinet.

Saw a bottle of Glenlivet XXV at my local store the other day. Had never seen that and did not know it existed. Has anyone here ever had this? The price at the store had been "reduced" to $399.
