This actually works. It's not so much blinking as it is jumping out of the picture. If you can get your eyes to focus properly, you'll see it. I found the missing star

There's a technique in photography that produces stereoscopic images. If you cross your eyes and focus like you did earlier you can get a really deep 3D effect.
