This should be PnP for rear wheel bearing swap on the 46M?

Keep in mind, while these tools are good with hand tools, using an impact gun will make R&R a breeze. You could pull off the entire trailing arm...its not terribly difficult. I think $55 to make the job much easier is a great deal. |

It truly is bigjae. I learned from working on this chassis that the proper tool is worth it for several jobs: RTAB, Ball joints, wheel bearing, TDC pin, and cam timing. Other mickey-mouse efforts work for the above jobs - but are not worth it. When the snow is gone for the year - we will be in touch! Mike p.s. If you ever need the Koch ball-join tool bigjae - I have the Koch "Master-Trailing Arm bushing kit E36/E46." If your new 46M has over 50k, I bet the lower BJ's on the rear trailing arm are threaded on the inside. Firms up the rear on corner exit with fresh BJ's. http://www.kochtools.com/index.php?p=product&id=174

No problem! Yeah...this is one of those jobs where you really want to get it right the first time.
