OP's project will be a monster. Definitely do E85 if you have it available in your area, running that much boost. It all comes down to the tune, but how complicated with that be and the R&D costs?

E85 is the plan. Won't know if I need injectors larger than I have (800cc) until the tune @13psi SC only. I will get to see the duty cycle and adjust if I need to. I've been running 11psi on 32lb injectors (330cc est). E85 requires a third more fuel and I pretty much tripled the size of my current set up. Hopefully it works, if not I will address it.

To clarify, if u have 1000cc injectors running at 80%, them u can achieve the same results running 800cc at 100% (tho most people wont do over 80% duty cycle, depends on the quality of your injectors and comfort level). Most quality injectors can do 110% but that's just FYI...

Could you explain this to those of us that don't understand how that's possible?

It's about reliability. So some manufactures will make a let's say 600cc injector. They will then advertise or sell them as say 550cc injectors. Kinda like automobile companies do on there engines and performance specs.

I think he's referring to like when HPF posted the video and thread about the ID2000 injectors (I think that's the name of them) performing comfortably at like 2200cc's or something. I assume he's stating that quality injectors are underrated most times, just a guess.

Since you already have tuning sorted out and have an idea what setup you are going to run and how much power you expect to make.
Consult your tuner and ask him what you will need and if he says this will work for him go forward with it. Don't second guess your plans once you have a well thought out one. I still say you'll need larger injectors if you plan to run E85. You should be able to sell current injectors and use the money to go towards larger injectors.

I'm still waiting on the photos!

About injectors you're not running them at 110% DC, just 110% output.

Crank up the voltage on the injectors to 16V and you'll have 120% output, run them at 100% for too long and they'll burn out.

Tuning this will be REALLY tricky on a stock DME, maby not at idle/full throttle but partiall trottle will be crazy as a slight increase in AFR will give the turbo some more spool/drop spool which in turn gives the sc another boost ref.. while still at same throttle.
Standalone with 4D or 5D fuelmaps + boost sensor between turbo and S/C is how i would have done it.

Pir4t.... the hope behind with that is a large turbo with large AR. I'm trying to delay the turbo effect until after 3k (full boost) in hopes of reducing that particular challenge. The thought or aim is to hit turbo only at wide open throttle (very tricky I know).

Point being if I'm just cruising around town I can keep shift points low to keep turbo inactive (or low activity anyway) Problem with this theory is that 4.10 gear and the highway...

Fuel pressure regulator would help I imagine as long as it plays well with the ECU....

Alright sounds more feasable

I believe i saw an electric wastegate on some project here in sweden , im sure that could be fitted to your application
(have it open under say 4000RPM and then close and open again when manifold sees X pressure)

Update...the engine is reassembled with injectors, cams, porting, larger throttle body, lower compression,etc... Left the same pulley (11 psi) on to get a good before and after. The car started right up though it idled horribly, but still sounded very aggressive. Had the car towed to Topspeed he in GA and is being tuned as we speak. (they had to customize an intake due to the larger TB and custom bungs for the nitrous).

PS...walt Disney was a great man with many stories, this is just one of mine jk

Once tuned I will start the final phase (depending on the HP gain and engine strength)

I will post dyne numbers once I pick the car up.
