Authentic M3 CSL on E46fanatics?

I've been on the board for 2 years now and I've never seen an e46fanatic yet with an authentic m3 CSL. If there are, pictures would be nice...very nice...no, make that extremely nice

If I remember correctly there was one posted by active autoworke, i saw it in person at their spring social

Since the majority of this site has US members its very unlikely as the CSL was not DOT approved for North American sales, that's why we were given the ZCP option on ///M's when the rest of the world generally didn't get that. only chance is that there is a non-US member that might have one on here

Carbon roof I believe.

and i've seen around 3-4 CSL's on the boards from the UK over the years.

Hmmm - the e92 M3's have carbon roofs as an option in the US. Most of the M3's at a dealer near me are sold that way.

it was not DOT approved because BMW never submitted it. BMW didn't feel the cost/effort was worth it for the limited number they were making

Wow thanks for sharing man! Seeing a black CSL is a once and lifetime opportunity. Some people garage them and never bring them out. I'm pretty sure Leno has one.
