Which winter rims?
I'm on the market for some winter rims and have basically narrowed down my search to two: Motegi Racing MR118, and Drag DR-37 wheels, both in black, 17", and a squared set up.
I prefer the look of the drag wheels, but I'm worried about their offset (42). My current wheels have a 34 offset in the front (style 162s) and I don't know what a 14mm retraction (according to the Tire Rack calculator) would look like in my car. I don't want them too look sunken in if that makes sense. The Motegis have a 32 offset and are 8" wide, vs the 7.5" wide Drags. What do you guys think? I have a 2004 330Ci with H&R racing springs so my car is lowered a bit too. |

I prefer the Motegi. If the offset bothers you, get spacers...or get both and sell me those wheels since I'm local.

Would the 42 offset maybe be better for the winter? My current wheels rub in the back (255/35/18, 37 offset) if I have people in the car and/or hit a speed bump. Would a 42 offset stop that from happening, without looking lame?
