NJ 2003 e46 BMW M3 - Titanium Silver/Imola Red/SMG - $17500
11/26/11 - PRICE DROP TO $16,500 FIRM in an effort to get this moved. Incredible car at an incredible price. Don't buy a 15k M3 trying to save $1500..you'll spend it 10 times over in maintenance. It's all been taken care of here.
2003 BMW M3 Coupe w/ 113k
SMG 6 Speed Transmission
Titanium Silver Exterior/Imola Red Manual Leather Interior
Dynavin Navigation/DVD/Ipod (appears factory, unlike most setups, very clean)
Exterior Condition: Incredible shape for an eight going on nine year old car. A few typical scratches but nothing more than the few small usual ones. A small paint chip on the inside of the driver's side mirror. Front bumper has a scrape on the passenger side which can easily be covered with splitters. 8/10.
Interior Condition: The seats are in 9/10 condition, I mean they are really nice with no tears or anything. The passenger side has a 2 inch long line which is not a cut or anything but looks like someone sat in the car with something in their pocket. Almost unnoticeable but I'm a perfectionist so I notice these things. Rear seats look like they've never been sat in. The steering wheel is worn to hell. The previous owner put on a crappy cover that chafed the wheel pretty good so it's pretty worn. I put a nice snug cover over it and it looks great but if you prefer driving without a wheel cover, you might want to replace the wheel (I may end up doing this myself before sale as I've had the intention of doing this forever). Carpets are very clean but you can tell they're aging. All functions work 100% front and rear windows, sunroof, locks, radio, climate control, etc. Very clean overall.
Modifications: Auto folding mirrors; love these. They fold when you lock and unfold when you unlock the car. Very classy. Dynavin navigation/iPod unit for clean factory look. Black fender grilles and titanium silver color matched kidney grilles. I like modding my car just as much as the next guy but I think less is more, so I haven't done much.
Reason For Sale: I'm starting a business and would love to free up not only the money from this car which would be helpful, but the money I'd be saving in the near future on insurance costs, etc. I love this car to death and WILL be in another in the future, no doubt about it.
Maintenance/Does It Need Anything?: NO. I've put like 5k+ into this car in the past year making everything perfect. I mean the brakes, cooling, a lot of suspension components and bushings, alternator, battery, light control module, tune up, fan clutch, power steering pump, etc. Anything that typically 'goes bad' around 100k has been taken care of before it does. I don't like waiting around for things to break. This car was well taken care of under my ownership, nothing neglected.
Title: Title is clear and in my name, car does have an accident on record but it was well before I took ownership of the car and it was repaired 100%..you would never know. I was informed by the previous owner that it occured with the first owner and wasn't too bad. I had the car thoroughly inspected by my mechanic prior to purchase and everything was on the up and up. No sub frame issues either. I'm the third owner.
Price: $17500. I'm slightly negotiable but I'm not looking to negotiate before you come take a look at the car and won't entertain PM 'e-offers' sight unseen. Most of the people who tend to make an offer on a car sight unseen, don't even show or have the intention of buying one. I don't know what the point is, but I've sold a couple cars online and it happens far too often and is annoying . I'd prefer the buyer to come take a look, decide its what they want and then talk price

I may be extremely serious and in the area in less than two weeks. Cash buyer, no BS
Could you please post more of the maintenance?
What have you done about the vanos?
rear differential? tranny fluid? SMG parts that have failed by now?
I'd like better pics of the front splitter damage and also of the steering wheel under the cover if possible. Also, more pics of the front left seat would be very nice.
Also, when did you buy it and how many miles did it have?
Do you have an extra set of wheels/tires? How many miles do the current tires have? Are they summer or mixed?
