How to beat 3200 for LSD and 3.91:1?

Guys, heres another one for you:

As im driving a 3L steptronic, my gear ratio is somewhat high even for a torque-based engine like the m54b30, i would want to raise the differential gearing to 3.91:1. the car would max out at around 170mph which is pretty hard to reach even on our autobahnen.

so i contacted a few companies who offer limited slip differentials and drexler was the one who has shorter gearing AND lsd.

sadly they want me to pay 3200

question now is, is there a company overseas or in uk or elsewhere which sells a lsd and a shorter gearing?

Yes a company over seas sells 3.91s.. It's BMW from the 2.5 auto x3. The Legend Kpeng has done this swap on his 330i. Here is a link for you, as far as lsd. I don't know. http://www.bokchoys.com/differential/diy_diff_x3.htm
Good Luck OP EDIT just realized... for that price you can get a m3 rear sub frame all the goodies with it. Buy a 3.91 for an m3 and still have some cash.

i know his work and actually it was his videos at youtube what made me think of shorter gearing

the problem is, x3 diffs are somewhat expensive here, you dont know in what condition it is, you have to change the cardan shaft and still have no lsd.

what do i have to change if i buy a m3 diff with subframe? drive shafts? cardan shaft?

just fyi:

bought a 3.91 diff from a x3, waiting for sealant kit, give it a hot washing and assemble it with the new seals and throw it in next month
