Banned members User Title in RED

i noticed there are a few threads/post by BANNED members that get bumped. the poster doesn't notice the person they are asking a question to is Banned. i have seen other forums where the banned member just doesn't get the label BANNED under his name. but also is highlighted in RED or another color so people notice it. perhaps this should be done here also so people notice that person is banned and won't be answering.

the good is that it would make posters aware of the status of the person being asked a question.
the bad is it highlights a lot of members over the years who are now banned and make forum look overly policed.

what do you all think?

I don't think it is needed. Many times it is the rest of the community that answers a question.

Agreed! In addition, threads of banned members are bumped more so because of the content that followed, not necessarily the question in the OP. Most people have been around long enough to understand/determine who is banned or not.

P.S. Alex, mods are red, so banned members in red would only cause confusion.

sorry i meant their "User Status" under their name.
like:
Registered User is black now
but make it Banned User

example of how one looks now. look under their member's name:
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showpos...3&postcount=27

i'm saying to make it slightly more noticeable.
perhaps even:
Banned User*

well there is obviously a reason why a user status is changed to Banned under a member.
the next logical step would be examine if one could make that act more effective/efficient.
making it with a red asterisk or color is more efficient.

as for the forum members being around long enough to know or notice who is Banned...
in my daily 10 plus years being on this forum it's rather noticeable the percentage of new members to the overall active membership is at a high.
as we have established there is a reason to mark a Banned member. i'm just saying it can be improved upon.
