FS:driver side coupe actuator

Sometimes my door tends to not open up with the key fob. That said, that means the passenger would have to climb through the window, and cant open my gas tank door. I can open the door manually with the key, and then can lock it without a problem using the center button. I can hear the door is trying to pop out that little black thing, but it doesnt.

But also, 85% of the time, the car does unlock with the key fob and everything else opens as well.

Actuator gone bad?

See if the hole that the little black knob pops up through is centered. If you look carefully you may notice that it is trying to popup when you press the unlock but it can't because it's hitting the side and coming back down.
I remember reading the above on this site because I was having the exact same problem. It would happen when it was very hot outside (in the 90s.) In the winter it wasn't a problem.

Yea, in this weather, my unlocking problem is getting worse. It sucks to see my girl climbing through the window or hop across the seat because my cars a P.O.S

Similar issue. I can open the driver side door with my key (my remote batter is dead) but i try to unlock the passenger door by pulling the interior handle and it does nothing. What I have to do is close the driver's side door, hit my central locking button a couple of times, then the passenger side door will unlock when I pull the handle. I read the GM5 site but I do not have any of the other issues they stated, only the passenger side door not unlocking properly. Subscribed.

Pm me a price shipped to 85757. I haven't done any research on the actuator. Does it just involve taking off the door panel to get to?

Will do. I emailed the GM5 site this morning and am waiting on their response as well. Once I get a second confirmation on the actuator, I will buy it off you.

I am unable to PM you, it says you do not allow it. Scott from the GM5 site confirmed it is probably the actuator.
