m3 bumper retrofit

Well, I'm in the middle of doing this mod, I already have planned how I'm gona adjust the sides and all of that, but right now my problem is that I think I should remove the inside foam part that comes with the m3 front bumper, does anyone known for sure if this is correct? The other thing I'm having trouble is that i need to attach the metal reinforcement bar to the m3 bumper but I wanted to known the best way to do this.
