Haha there I was reading into it too much. Work was preventing my mind to multi-task as well as it usually does during the day

I like the idea of you both hitting trails out in NJ, running over tanned beach bums then hitting up the gym and laundry after together

I hate you. Sad that there is no real wheeling out here (north east.) nothing like the Colorado/Utah area. Will probably do a road trip to Moab in may with my rig. Should be fun.

Just remember me for the future.. Hopefully by then I'll have found something solid, though haha. What locations around here do you know about that are good to take the wranglers? I'm already itching to take it to a nearby rock quarry.

I don't know any private land (aka a quarry.) The only legal places that I know of in NJ is Wharton State Forest (pine barrens) in south Jersey and Stokes state forest in Northern NJ. Thats all I know. Save up some money by June...Im looking to do a road trip to Colorado/Utah for some REAL wheeling.

The funny thing is, Im not a big fan of rock crawling. It seems boring to me. It is probably fun if you have a bottomless wallet but it isn't for me. I much more enjoy overlanding.

Having said that, my rig isn't ready this year, but next year I am planning in participating in this.....

Will be looking for a teammate as well next year, so build your rigs!!!

We have an Xterra, Wrangler, and a couple of Defenders down in Argentina... between Los Reyunos in San Rafael, the sand dunes a few hours away and a ski resort in the other direction, its amazing year round. you would love it down there in a Jeep like yours, its unbelievable. We managed to catch the Dakar race passing through town one year while we were there on vacation.

My personal picture from the view of my cousin's house in Los Reyunos... basically nothing but dirt roads all across the mountain to get to the "resort."

Shes OK (not super excited but OK) with camping. A rooftop tent is definitely on my list. She does like adventure though, so it would be an easier sell than just "normal camping." Tried to take her camping in the winter to the mountains....didn't go well.
