I am a fan of everything but the headlights...that design still looks funky to me...but I do like the car just wished it were a bit cheaper...I feel odd saying a hyundai for 30k...

I love the styling, but my Tiburon ruined Hyundai for me.


That 10 year, 100k warranty does mean shit when everything that falls apart isn't covered. My clutch went out, cv axle popped out of the tranny, hydraulic lifters failed, and the interior rattled to pieces, all before 50k. None of this was covered under the warranty.

Looks like they stole less this time.... thats a step to defining them as a real brand.

8-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual. I'm sure the gas mileage will still be impressive, as well.

Agreed. They should create a higher end brand name if they want to start selling nice cars and compete with 'better' brands. I would never drop so much on a Hyundai. Their brand doesn't have enough goodwill in that area to properly compete.

And the previous gen looked better, but this one is pretty cool too.

Hyundai debuted its newest prototype, the Genesis Hurricane SC, at the SEMA show in Las Vegas last week. Now the company has released a video that gives a closer look at the 450-hp coupe.

The Hurricane SC has enhanced power, traction and braking, along with a sleek new design. The video highlights the Rhys Millen Racing bodywork, which includes a front bumper, grille, hood, side skirts, diffuser and rear deck with a spoiler. FlyRide gave the car LED headlights and taillights, and Enkei and Hankook added 19-inch wheels and tires.

Fans of the look will be able to buy Rhys Millen aero pieces for the Hyundai Genesis coupe similar to what's on the Hurricane SC, Hyundai said.

Think it will make it to production?

i broke a lot of stuff putting on headers and they fixed everything under warranty, even though it was aftermarket and my own fault

From what I could gather, bottom-end motor and internal transmission work. I'm sure the dealer has a lot to do with it as well, some may be more generous than others.

Too much going on. But will have to see in person.

Some of the leaked renderings looked awesome, but those are always better than the real thing.

For some reason, it reminds me of the aweful Tiburon they used to have.
