Yeah that makes a difference. I have a 3.38 soon to be 3.62 LSD (sitting in my friends basement ready to go in)

I also have a vorsteiner hood and trunk with spare tire and jacking equipment delete. I bet if I gutted the interior and put in racing seats that would help. Along with removing the heavy iforged wheels and replacing with a 17-18 lb wheel.

But dont put your 330 down its a great platform.

yeah the torque is amazingly smooth in 3rd gear at 3300 rpm and floor it.. it really takes off...

the 3.46 is very nice but i really want the top end so headers and oe tune will be the final touches. i also need to get rid of 2 10 inch kickers in my trunk which aren't helping the cause.

besides stock hk which sucks what can i replace the 2 tens with that weighs the least?

I'm thinking just put 1 10 inch kicker in and I'm done but is there a smaller lighter speaker setup that i could put in the trunk that will still give me some ok kick?

Headers makes all the difference.

I recommend buying them and sending the out to a high temp paint place like Jet hot to keep temps down.

i know that anthony from bimmerbrakes had the option of buying headers already coated for a good price like 400 total. i don't see them on the current site. even though the new bimmerbrakes site looks really good btw.
where would i send it to for the least amount of money? any coat is better than no coat and on top of that i would wrap them up really good so that should keep them temps down quite a bit.

You'd have to call around. The guys who's done my stuff in the past gave me the hook up because he buys his parts from my work. Probably $300+ for a good one. It will just form to the corner or top (roof) of the trunk and save you room as well as weight.

Really, your saying a car with 100+ more hp is faster? Hmmm If I were you I'd be a little embarrassed by those videos. That 330 is N/A and still has less HP than the M3.

Yea and pulleys. I was planning on it after my custom exhaust was done but I have decided to sell my car and go a different route.

Ha Not hardly. A truck that will actually pull my boat instead of one that struggles to pull itself. It's okay, my truck will beat an M3 in the 1/4 mile lol Duramax ftw! I've had 3 E46's, time for a change.

will you be parting out your car? were your headers ceramic coated from anthony or did you get them done yourself?

Yes it's being parted out, except headers and Angels. Too much of a pain. The headers are neither. I left them stainless steel. The heat isn't bad at all, people exaggerate.

yeah thats what i thought. i think just wrapping them would be a good idea because the wrap is so cheap but we shall see.

have you been pulled over by a cop and has he smelled it while pulling you over and brought it up to you ?

im in cali and thats the only thing I'm scarred of

Lol No I don't drive like an idiot. Cops here don't care anyway. I've been through a license check point once and he didn't say anything. It really doesn't smell all that bad unless your behind me when I'm WOT. My girlfriend has complained once when behind me. Lol I wouldn't advise doing headers in Cali. You have a sniffer and you can't simulate that. Then adding 200 cell race cats is too much $ for the power increase IMO.
