Your worst online purchase experience!

After having to wait for more than two months to receive two items from ebay for my beemer, I finally managed to get my money back from paypal! It seems there is no end to people selling items online, giving all sorts of promises, and all you end up with is a great deal of stress, items that do not match the purchase criteria, broken promises, long delivery times and outright lies!

What is your worst experience???

Bought my wife from overseas for the purpose of marraige, a shared life and children.

Very dissappointed in what I received. Promises were made that she would be attractive, respectful of her husband, obedient and loving.

I never got a refund or an apology.

I urgently needed a rare text book and could only find one from a third party on amazon. Bought & paid but after 3 months or so with no response I complained and got a refund. Didn't think much of it afterwards but many many months afterwards it arrived.

Bought a rx3 coupe rolling shell, clean straight with fresh paint. When it arrived it was a 808 that was rough as guts, and looked like it had been painted with a roller. Pictures in ad were of a different car. Complained to eBay and seller. I will never use eBay again.

I bought a computer from an Aussie seller with awesome feedback. They sent a motherboard that wasn't as good as what I was meant to get. After emails, phone calls and a dispute opened on eBay, I got nothing and gave up. I only buy cheap stuff on there now, unless I know I can rely on the seller.

I've been buying and selling on there for 10 years. Had more trouble selling to people than buying off them.
Just make sure you always pay with Paypal and open an item not received dispute if seller has sent it via means with no tracking rather than item not as described dispute.
Paypal pay out of the not received disputes 99% of times to buyers but its 50/50 on item not as described.

Bought some awesome things over the years - Very unique Dare gallery bed $300 retailed for $1000+. Some clear headlights for my e36 and when they didn't work when i installed them the seller sent a guy out free of charge with replacements. Leather jacket new with tags $600 in David Jones i paid $300.
I buy everything off there. Today received a t-shirt that was $180 in David Jones i paid $95 and it arrived in my letterbox new with tags on.

Lacoste might be part of ebays vero program where basically they own the rights and you can't sell it even if it is genuine. The seller was prob scared you would report him.
Chanel and Dior are the same they won't let me sell them so i've had to take mine down to the consignment shop instead. They were even funny about Adidas being listed at one stage.

My bro just forked out 2.5k for this turbo kit on Skylines Australia forum 2 weeks ago:

HKS T51R Kai Turbo
HKS SS exhaust manifold
HKS Ex Gate
HKS Ex Gate Merge Pipe
HKS Front Dump Pipe
HKS Intake Pipe
Water and Oil lines.

Was meant to arrive no less than a week after money sent, posted on the for sale thread where he purchased it saying 'have you sent it yet?' & another guy comments saying he's also paid for it & is awaiting for items to be shipped to him too!! So he's made 5k & for all we know is on the other side of the world

Before purchase got 'his' license details, name, bank details etc all of it being fake & now his phones switched off, cops don't want anything to do with it & advised my bro to hire a private investigator..
