If they are on the iBus reading the PDC, I wonder if they'll "open up" that win CE dll/android api and allow hackers to add things like autofolding mirrors, drive-away locking (Europe) auto home-shine and total closure. Assuming the ce board can run when ACC is of of course. Exciting!

Whats to work out?? Diagnostic reads the relevant alarming Sensor from IBUS. This uses the same principle and its obviously graphically displaying which sensor on the screen. Its not incredible rocket science.....

How much did the e39 D95 go for???

I mean...jeeze. $1500 for a headunit is pretty crazy when it's coming from an off-brand (just being honest).

I don't know where he found those prices but that is WAY higher than what I expect pricing to be. I suspect that is non US pricing...

He got those unconfirmed prices from another forum, obviously not from Dynavin.
Like you said Jeff, let the wild speculation begin.

Those prices are in NZD not USD.

The RRP is apparently 799 Euro, 680ish, or about $150 more than the D95.

It does seem somewhat unusual that Dynavin would announce to the world the D99 without having any sort of timely release schedule in place. All they are doing is cannibalising the sales of the existing range? I mean who in their right mind would purchase a D95 unit right now with the D99 imminent? I was all poised to buy D95 until I heard about D99 now I'm waiting. I can't be the only one.

The first we heard of the D95 was when Jeff actually got a physical unit..

Yes, D99 sounds good to me also... Questions: Sound quality of the Dynavin units, Cell phone directory and do I go Android or Windows??? I don't use my cell tethered and probably would not. Options,......
