Two things,

1. Media Interface - will this be fixed up?
2. Sunlight - What kind of glass is being used? Can this be fixed?

That's just my opinion. I'm satisfied with D95 all the time.
As I have a moment, I'll use D99.
Darkoz, I've been reading your usefule post to e46 users who need help them out, since I got my BMW.
Thanks for the reply to my opinion.

Thanks for the information - it's excellent. Appreciate you taking the time to show us.

Is the brightness worse than the D95, or the same?

What is the new iPod interface like? Does it do album art or have they just used generic photos of CD covers to make it look more swish?

Can you get a video up or something?

How does it compare with D95 - is it at least as good as D95 in every area?

1. media interface will never be fixed, is the new MTK chipset. Anyway i use android side.
2. i have no idea. But is VERY bad in full sunlight.
3. Brightness is very good ! Screen quality is great.
4. New ipod interface, didn`t test it because i dont have any music on my iphone. I`ll put something tomorrow and make a video
5. way better than d95. At least radio reception and bluetooth are almost perfect.

That mini review was very useful, thanks

I'm wondering, can one continue listening to any of the audio sources whilst the OBC page is displayed?

yes, any audio running that time, so you can stare at OBC while you listen music.

What sort of functionality does the OBC offer? Does it take it generic readings from the IBUS or something?

Wondering how it will work with the E39 with low OBC.

battery voltage, temperatures ( cooling, oil, outside ), range, consumption, etc. All info is extracted from ibus/canbus network.

Could you get us a shot of the OBC functionality? Does it only do l/100km or can you swap it to UK or US MPG?

All gone quiet on the D99 front. Notice Caraudiocraze are now listing the Audi and Mercedes units in stock?

The Audi/VW units are in transit right now, should have them soon, BMW units are in production, should have them in a few weeks.

I already have, thanks.

Conjectures on pricing are useless to me. There is no concrete (ie. exact, final, confirmed) information for retail pricing via Jeff or anohter NA dealer. That, is what I am awaiting.

Is it possible to have more than one telephone paired to the D99 at the same time?
