good 12" sub

i need some more bass in my ride. will (1) 12" jl audio 12w7 give me a good clean thump in my ride? if anyone out there listens to gabber/jungle, tell me what you recommend i get to thump that music.

12w7 is my dream, i havnt heard it in person, but everyone says that is plenty of bass... and it is one of the best quality sounds too. thats what i would (and want) to get

yea u will get plenty of bass if you have a ski pass and a good amp...most name brand subs would work you dont have to spend 600 on that one..

i have a friend that works at a stereo shop, and he recommended the alpine type r 12" sub. should i go with JL Audio or that Alpine sub?

if you can afford it, then jl audio 12/w7 subwoofer, but jl audio 12/w6 subwoofer is enough, i have it in my car, and you can hear it half a block away.

i have the jl audio 1000/1 amplifier, i just wanted it because it looked crucial, but the jl audio 500/1 amplifier is fine, i have a custom box for my trunk, i'll post a quick picture in a bit.

If you get the W7 ....

You will want to get the 1000/1 amp to go with it because 500w will not be enough to power that 12" sub. Not on a W7.

The 1000/1 amp should cost $650 each and the 12in W7 should cost $475. That's ballpark figure!
