That's where it gets complicated. Say you're pulled over by a cop, and he noticed it's registered some 150 miles away, you say you're just visiting, etc etc, that same cop sees you very frequently or just happens to pull you over again a few months later. What is your excuse then?

OK, well here's the deal, my roommate's first language is spanish (but he's a hell of a programmer), so everything I learn I have to translate from english to spanish (btw, I speak english spanish and italian) he owns a bmw e46 328i, so yeah he likes bimmers, two weeks ago we got started into programming and coding the e46 (we already mastered almost everything, (and he has helped me a lot) the only thing left for us to learn is this project we're discussing, Euro 2,3 emissions specs on US tune data.

With the MS42 DME, we think there is only the option of Euro2...there are several different part numbers, so please report back if you get a Euro3 tune

Just did this, right now. Ordered the VAC block off plate when I ordered my pulleys.

Did you pull that bracket out as well? If so, how did you mount the coolant reservoir after removing it?

I just blocked the SAP port and left everything else in place.

Just performed the same and am about to go for a test drive... everything seems fine, but I'd be really surprised to see gains in torque like you did. I mean, I don't understand how removing the system would improve power and torque. Either way, the simplicity, cleaner engine bay and weight loss is enough for me.

Thanks for the write-up and advice

No prob! I may have noticed an improvement since my SAP Valve was faulty and stuck open.

Im assuming you had to plug the vacuum line that goes from the SAP valve to under the intake manifold too?
