I don't think you can do anything more then 245/35/18 on the back. That's just an educated guess though.

you can put 19x9.5 in the rear and 19x8.5 front. depends what offset you have though. usually et35 front and et38 rear and no need to roll your fenders if you have 215-235/35/19 fronts and 235-245/35/19 rear but if you want aggressive rears put et32 with 235/35/19 and roll your rear fenders. this is base on my experience and check the forum for more info as well. btw, i have 235/35/19 et35 in front and 265/30/19 et38 rear, rolled rear fenders slightly and i dont rub at all. goodluck!

We are running a special right now for free shipping on all VMR Wheels ($100) value if you are interested.

As for rubbing, it all depends on the offset. I would recommend running 18"x8.5" front AND rear with a +40mm offset for the best fitment with no fender rolling.

Almost every set of VMR wheels we carry are offered in this size and setup, PM me if you have any questions.

I have VMR v710s 18x8.5 et35 all around 235/40/18 no rubbing!
Stay on the safe side go the same route. 9.5" would be too wide for a dropped car and you are risking of rubbing without fender rolling.

please do us a favor and dont stretch your tires either

no, you can slam a sedan on 10" wide rears. ive seen it done, and while im not slammed, im low and run 18x10s out back w/255/35 tires.

with a 18x8.5 you have enough room to run 265s if the offset is correct.

click link in sig. yes, 18x10 with 255/35s and i only rub a lil on big dips and 3 or 4 passengers. if i went to 245 i dont think id rub.
Youd be surprised how much these non M E46s swallow up

Here's my 265/30/19 slammed on work wheels 19x10 et38, fenders slightly rolled not all the way since i didnt remove the silicone gunk inside the fender wall and had to trim the excess bolt that holds the bumper a bit to prevent rubbing from sidewall.

same as everyone was saying. Depends on the offset. I'm running 19x9.5 rears with a 265/30 tire and have no rubbing issues at all!

Why do you want to slow your car down with larger wheels?

Don't forget the functionality of the car also, OP. You might want to carry a passenger someday, or need to fit bodies in the trunk...hellaflush to me looks like hella-unfunctional. It's a driving machine, not 'just' a piece of art. Put function ahead of form.

Ha!

I still don't get why so many think they're slow if they're not an M or SCd? I've never once been wanting for more power. I still remember the time I almost rear ended a Z06. We started off at a light. I heard him open it up...me too. Somewhere around 35, while I'm still in first and he's shifted three times already, I had to back off of him. I know he wasn't really trying...but he was trying a little!

My crappy 2.93 diff, 16" wheels, gets me to about 40 in first and 69 mph in 2nd. The extra second I could get by spending a few thousand dollars isn't really buying me anything I need.

Nevermind...I'll never win here. I should just stop, I know...and some day I will!
