We have not compared the two side by side but I can tell you just by looking at the Cosmos intake, it is an inferior system.

1. The intake pipe is constructed out of flexible silicone allowing flex upon suction. This causes the diameter of the tube to decrease based on acceleration levels giving you inconsistent air flow.

2. No heat shield is provided.

3. Maintains the flexible factory rubber upper intake boot.

4. Does not include an HID ballast relocation kit.

I wish you made this for the 330! It seems like this has joined the best of the other E46 intakes, at least as far as design goes: Dinan, BMW Performance, and the AFE Stage 1.

The Injen system only replaces the upper intake boot, so no. The lower intake boot that connects to the throttle body will remain. I wish they offered a replacement for the lower intake boot as well but they don't. No system on the market does to my knowledge.

Ryan...you mentioned 6-10RWHP gain. How about the Torque. I already have the AFE intake and been using it for over 5 yrs but always wanted a reason to upgrade.

Injen's test car (E46 328i) made 6RWHP and 3FT/LBS of Torque jumping from the stock system to this Injen system.
