Modified Coding/Diagnostic Cable - Page 3

I am currently running a cable from UK Cables that I bought off eBay and although it works with my INPA and I can flash with WinKFP I still run into ignition detection problems in Progman.

This cable is modified in order to work with these programs and still offer real time ignition and battery voltage detection? Sounds like exactly that I need or need done to the cable I currently am using!

I think you dont have any idea what you are talking about....

I will help you explain it.

you can solder two point (pin 7 and 8), but you won't get any true ignition detection with these, soldering pin 7 and 8 will only let you read all the modules and you have to reprogram your cable, that if you have FT232RL chip, to trick the software.

to get a true ignition detection, you need to solder a resistor and a transistor.

My cable can do a complete igniton detection.

I got my cable from Gleech. I'm sure I could of bought one cheaper, but he went above and beyond on helping me get software configured.

hay man does this cable only work in windows XP because i know NCS expert dont work in windows 7!

how do i get everything capatability wise to work?

can you pm me by any chance.......

I saw a topic here it actualy does work for windows 7 you just have to download the right version.
