I have Carsoft and most of the Vanos tools (plus the proper loctite and cam spline tool). If you have a VW, I have VAG-COM. I'm in Bethlehem, PA.

There was a list like this back in the day on the TDI Club forum. It was handy for people to come by and scan an ABS or Injection pump timing issue.

Thumbs Up

I'd be happy to help a BMW owner on Vancouver Island. GT-1, INPA, SSS, WinKPF, etc. Outside of Nanaimo you'll need to make a good case for me to come out though
I do share the cables with a Vancouverite so if Vic328Csi can't make it, we might. If you live in Calgary, hit me with a PM. I work there and might be able to work something out! (Yeah, my life is convoluted.)

I lurk on the performance subforum here but post most of the time on BFest, as I don't own an E46.

I'm pretty sure that when I updated VMWare the other night, it deleted my Progman system that I spent HOURS building........ uggghhhhhhhh..................

I'm going to claw my eyes out.

**** Note **** Don't upgrade VMWare if it asks you to. It just might delete one of the virtual systems you have.

EDIT: Turns out you can physically backup the virtual systems.

A user on the other forum uploaded the working virtual machines for both GT1 and Progman. Since I already had Progman working, I just downloaded GT1 and it's working great. But you should start with those if you are having to start over. Should be pretty easy to find. You'll spend days downloading it all, but no time setting it up. Totally worth it.

well, I've had a lot of success with NCSExpert recoding an E46 M3 instrument cluster. using NCSDummy it's not that bad at all. it's actually the first peice I've used successfully. Next is WinKFP.

PA soft has been pretty useless/limited, and it can't do anything with the cluster I have anyway.

Is there anybody in the southeastern PA area? I have the ebay cable and software but having trouble getting it set up on the laptop. If I can get it running, I am happy to help others.
