Starting/Acceleration Issues on Warm Start

Hey guys,

In the past week or so my 2001 330ci has been having starting/acceleration issues. It only happens on a warm start. When I first start the car in the morning it fires right up and behaves perfectly. Once I've been driving for a few minutes, if I stop and turn it off (to go into a store, to get gas, etc.) and start it again shortly after, it takes as much as 3 or 4 seconds of cranking before it'll start running. Also, when I hit the accelerator from idle, the engine hesitates for a second and the revs drop 300-400 RPM, and then jump to where I was trying to get them to.

I've cleaned my ICV and MAF today (resolved the issue of it stalling when RPMs were returning to idle), but the issue persists.

Any tips?

Did you ever figured this issue out? Some fanatics will tell you it could possible be an issue with the intake cam sensor.

It did turn out to be the intake cam position sensor. When that issue started I bit the bullet and bought a Peake tool, so it's all fixed now.
