"Beater" M3 had a blown engine and poorly repaired after an accident(s). Good engine went in there to act as a "test" bed, but in the time between that and the creation of this thread, Kalim has managed to hoard more S54s so I lost track of which engine is actually going where.

hold on... let's see if I can get this right. The first motor that came from an e30 swap project was sold. The second motor was going to go into the sedan, but now he's keeping it in the m3 with a messed up chassis I think the third motor is the one going in the sedan and the fourth s54 was sold. I think that's it, although I might have mixed up the last two

To be accurate:
He took one clean e46 sedan, one beat-up, pig of a double salvaged m3 and made one bada$$, clean e46 sedan.

Protip: They don't make an e46 M3 Sedan.

Details are important.

haha oh ok...but he drove the M3 for a year...so it couldn't have been THAT messed up...

Still seems completely backwards to take a working E46 M3 and make a working hybrid 325i with a S54...

It is. It has had some serious accidents and was not repaired well. The PO attached headlights with wood screws, bumpers with zipties, and stuffed the door panels with shop towels Kalim still drives it as his DD.

The sedan is getting a newer s54... I dont think you understand the appeal of an s54 sedan

how do you feel if someone is mean to you? for example...i can say something like "you have something to learn from this thread. maybe you can stop being a fake and get a s54 engine on your "m3.""

anyhow, to the OP. great work. can't wait to see the end result.

where did you get the custom drive shaft?

He is making a sedan M3, aka a car that BMW never made

and the m3 he had was really a wreck, 2 seperate salvage titles....and he took a non running M3 with a blown motor, and is swapping that motor into a beautiful 325, makes perfect sense to me

Ohmahgawd...S54s for everyone. I hope he doesn't keep that beater, though. What a waste of an engine.

Why are he so mean to op?

It's the internet and it's srs business, get over it. Maybe you can start learning to use quotation marks correctly. To use them inside a quote you want to use this: '. Not this: ".

The drive shaft was just shortened and balanced by a shop. Maybe if you get really lucky the dealership will leave a lice infested one in your trunk.

What? I thought that's what the lone S54 was for. Hmm, A visit is in order so we can clarify this mess. I mean I can always text him, but a visit just sounds more...important.
