DIY For Steering Wheel Trim...

I'm trying to install my steering wheel trim but I can't get the center console out by releasing the springs...Do I have to pull out the console with a lot of force once pushing on the springs or will they just pop out? Help me out here...The center console is pertruding, but its not coming out...I don't know what the hell i'm supposed to do...

Are you talking about the airbag being hard to get out? Keep trying, it will come out...

If you are talking about the you depress the airbag lock with the screwdriver, use your fingers to get a hold of the edge of the airbag and pull out one side. Repeat with the other side. The airbag will then come out. DON'T YANK IT OUT!! You still have to detach the wire connectors on the back.
