SES light is on, the signal from the exhaust cam is cut so as not to retard at lower speeds.

Was that our clutch? If so I'd like to get the disk back.

Yes it was your stage 3 I believe. Whatever the strongest one that you suggested. Would you like me to send the entire clutch back to you?

I have not yet driven Tom's car on the street but it runs well on the dyno with E85. I can say that drivability was iffy with pump gas though. Seems that the BMW engine is so efficient that it requires very small pulse widths of fuel for normal driving. With the 30% more fuel required for E85 you get to a better range that the 2150 injectors like.

I'll PM you where to send it to and I'll have them take a look at it. We've never run that much torque to it. It's amazing the disk material still held with nos and 800+ ft-lbs, but the center section broke.

Chris.

Thanks much for the explanation Larry. This car only sees e85 so I was somewhat surprised by the stuttering issues, if in fact the 2150s are the cause.

Don't waste your money, I have the same issues (only when less than about 40% ethanol) and I'm running 1100's.

Thumbs down

The bucking happens primarly at low rpms when I roll into it, then it corrects itself.. It also happens when I decel or engine brake. I believe the injectors are not transitioning well due to my high base pressure.

Ray's car has the same base pressure , but possibly different injectors, not sure what problems if any he's having.

No bucking here, yet.
