My response to Tom's image shack photos:

While I am not a huge fan of vinyl wraps, I must say your transformation to white is simply stunning. Paired with those exquisite gold and chromed wheels it is one of the sweetest M3's ever.
I would own one that looked like that in a second. It really is special. you have done an outstanding job.
Great move to go to white!
I have red recaros too! Not installed yet, but good to know they are going to look just great. I had to go to the Topline XL since I am so tall and fairly big guy. The standard Recaros just killed me. The XL's were so freaking expensive but super comfortable for me. They did not offer them in red so i got a real Jersey bolt from Recaro and authentic Alcantara from West Coast of FL. I had an expert recover them...just to add the the cost, but I got what I wanted! Like you did. It ain't cheap but you only live once!

I would have loved to see the quarters blended a little better, so its more OEM looking. IMHO looks a little funny from those pictures. With that being said I love your car and can't wait to see it back in your hands. BEAST!

Why didn't you want the side skirts molded in? Out of curiosity.

I basically wanted it to look like a m3 but 1.5-2 inches wider which isn't as easy as it sounds apparently lol... If I wanted a molded bulky body kit I would have ordered a pre built kit like floss man or asuka

Although I know it is done, but it should have been easy to not have to mold the sideskirts. Could have cut the sideskirts and flared them out if they had modified the quarter too. Just for an example here is an RSX I did. It is about 2-2.5" wider on each side to fit the 255/45/17 on 17x9et 10. 600 whp rsx

fronts: (not as wide but 1.5" each side)

as you can see I cut the underside of the quarter too and pulled that out as well to keep everything factory looking as possible

anyways back to Tom's car
