over priced, just stick with your 5W30 BMW oil and change it every 8k miles.
oil wont make your engine more powerful.
I think because of the thickness at the hot side, it actually makes your car less powerful.

Just go to the dealer. Get 5w30 Synthetic LL-01 oil, because that's what your car calls for. It's cheaper than this at the dealer.

Also, I love your wheels.

This is LL-98 oil which is Castrol Syntec 5w40 , same sh1t different can.

Its LL-98 and it will NOT last as long as LL-01 oil, it'll maybe last 9k miles tops.

It is also WAYYYYYYY overpriced. If you buy oil from US and add shipping , tax, duty into your village it will still come out cheaper then that.

I was considering an LL-98 myself...a 5/40, but since there are LL-01 5/40s, I'd consider them if you need an oil on the thicker spectrum.

I'm using Total Quartz 0/30; it also makes a 5/40.

Anyway, that's about all I know about it...LL-01 is safer. Also, you can run much longer than 10K KM you know. I go 10K miles on mine...and will probably go up a bit from there, though 12K miles is probably my upper limit!

Doug somewhere posted about a Total 5w40 that is LL01.. Iam gonna use that next.. (thanks Doug )

I buy from this guy http://www.ebay.de/itm/TOTAL-Quartz-...item27b5720ab4 Shipping is the same up to 20-25 liters if i remember correctly..
For me it's cheaper than anyone here (Greece).. I buy 10lt for me and 10 for a friend so shipping goes in half..

Guys, lots of stuff are much cheaper in USA.. There is no comparison..

That's the stuff. Let me know how you like it, or more importantly, how your car likes it! I think this will be my next oil, though I've still got time to decide. Really guys, trust me, you don't have to change your oil at 6,500 miles (10K km), you easily have another 3,500 miles in it...unless, of course, BMW Europe says otherwise.

And, also, thicker oil, if you don't really need it, will reduce your mpgs by a little bit. At my mileage, I think I can benefit from it, even though I'm not burning any oil at all. I'm beginning to think I must have some serious issue! LOL

bmw europe say change oil and filter at 20-25000km...i think is too much

10-15000km is the best way to change oil and filter and keep the motor in good conditions

I agree.. I don't care if it's synthetic oil.. Every year (every 12 months) or 10k kms i change oil+filter.. (i usually don't do 10k kms in 12 months)
