Bad Vanos? Vanos leaking lots of oil. Need to replace seals, or entire unit?

So sometimes my car has a rough idle, and i figured i would have to clean my idle control valve, because my CCV stuff looks new, with no oil leaks. However, my yellow oil light came on the other night, so i added a little oil (not even a quart). The front part of the Vanos now is leaking oil over the waterpump, a radiator hose and serpentine belt. I figured i would have to replace the vanos piston seals, but a local mechanic told me it shouldn't be leakin on the front. I'm taking it in tomorrow for a free check. Ima DIYer, any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks!

Is your Vanos oil line leaking? This leaks quite a bit.

Changing the vanos seals is an easy DIY only it takes time to do it wright. If you do this wright you will have no leaks and you will notice a the better the perfomance of the engine. Look at www.beisansystems.com. Good luck.
