Oil sensor?

What sensor is on the bottom of the oil drain pan? I changed my control arm bushings and I noticed the wire was cut.

And when you start up, if the oil lamp lights up for a few seconds, you found the source of your problem.

it also doubles as your oil temp senseor, I just replaced mine...
