Not sure what CLUB is but techno, to me, is different to minimal.

I disagree. Agreed it is harder to differentiate sub genres, but prog house and tech house and funky house are totally different sounds.

I don't usually hear a lot of minimal or deep house at clubs other than after hours places where I live.
