2015 Mustang images "leaked". Performance figures added on Post #28!

http://news.boldride.com/2013/10/201...-leaked/38493/

Quote:

For many Mustang enthusiasts, December is a long ways away. When the pony car makes it official web appearance this winter - and in person in January - it should be quite a site to see given all the hype.

But, Christmas may have come sooner than you think with some "leaked" shots of the all-new Mustang from Car and Driver. Whether this is official or a well-done rendering has yet to be determined. But we can say that whatever it may be is extremely handsome.

What do you think - is this the new Mustang?
---

So, uh... what do you guys think? It's pretty damn sleek, no doubt about that. Aerodynamics look like they have improved and the car is to be smaller than the outgoing generation... it's going to be about the size and weight of an E46, but with 400+ HP (and finally have independent rear suspension). With a limited slip differential, it would be an absolute monster.

I think I'll have to see the car in person to determine if I truly like it or not. I'm also going to have to drive one.

EDIT: Fusion coupe is what I was looking to say. It looks like it will be a Fusion coupe. With that said, do you think they'll offer an SVT or SHO Fusion?

Fusion for comparison:

I don't like any Mustang despite the fact that one of the people I admire most created it.

It'll for sure be a monster but I'm not really a fan of the new styling they've got going on.

Looks like I'll be in the market for a slightly used 2014 model in a few years.

I don't like the headlights
Ford got it right with the new 5.0s, they should keep it that way

The lower grille on the front bumper looks vaguely familiar...

Oh boy! A new, good looking Mustang that looks incredible on the exterior, but has 10-year old technology, a cheap plastic interior, ugly dashboard, and absolute **** handling!

I'm so excited!

I don't value the cars he made but rather the impact they made.

If they made it a Fusion coupe that performed, that'd be cool. I think the Fusion is better than 95% of new non-exotic cars available.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

Still a huge upgrade from the e46...what technology is 10 years old? I hate the plastic door panels as well, but other than that I'm happy with the interior. You can't have power and BMW level luxury for the price. The mustang has never been about interior luxury anyways so it's like complaining that the ride quality of an m3 CSL isn't as good as a 7 series.

Anyways...I think the new mustang will look awesome in person. I can't wait to see the gt500 and Roush.

The CSL isn't designed to be a DD.

and the mustang isn't designed for those in the market for a luxurious interior..therefore the cheap parts are justifiable.

Not feeling the front end, but I didn't like the s197's when they came out and they're finally growing on me.

It seems like mustangs are stepping up on their game. Although i wouldnt buy a brand new one. I will most likely be getting one of those in a few years. After a good depreciation.
