E46 M3 Air Intake...which is the best

Hi Fanatics...I have searched the forums for the best air intake solution for an E46 M3....I have looked at K&N, AFE, ECIS, COSMO, Carbonio,INJEN Short Ram!!!!!! How on earth do you decide. COSMO seems to be the only one that captures the air from the front ram and the fog light ram by providing a cover.

The next question is Electric Supercharger option....does anyone actually have one on an M3 E46?

Looking for the forums expertise here!!!

2002 M3 E46, cosmetic upgrades...completely stock engine! This will be the first performance upgrade.

I have the K & N intake in my m3, helps the sound and I felt a little increase in high RPM range. I would recommend it but have no experience with other intakes.

The K&N looks good...the question I have is what if the Filter gets wet from washing the car or driving in the rain?

I have noticed that mine gets dirty from all the dust/debris that comes in but I have not had any problems with it yet. What I do is check it every so often to make sure everything is clean and securely on and your good to go.

Electric super chargers have been discussed and made fun of in the past. Best intake is the stock intake. If you want the best sound it is the CSL intake.
