im also looking at gettin some new headers for my E46 2.8 but how does it affect the headers if the primarys are not equal lenght, also iv noticed on the output pipe on some headers there seems to be 2 different sizes 2" or 2.25" so do i take it the headers with the large output pipes are better even if the primarys are not equal?

and is it worth using exhaust wrap on the headers?

We will not try testing with eBay as Fitment is poor and it will take us more time to get them to fit. There will be a Dyno Graph from Stock to these New Headers.

BTW: Lets get back on track. If you like more info. Please PM.

OP, I'd get ebay headers. I've ran them for years no issues. Use OEM gaskets and you will be gtg! Sell your oem manifolds. Take the profit you made from this mod, and reinvest.

Its ok, the gen 3 ones are not equal length either, if i remember correctly.

OP do not get ebay headers, they are crap! You get what you pay for. Bimmerbrakes sells great headers, and they fit perfect!

What issues did you have with your ebay headers? darkside? I've installed both.

o2 sensor fitment, flanges not being aligned, also the fact that they seem very flimsy, sloppy welds, only the outside of the pipes are welded. Compared to bimmerbrakes, they are trash.

Ive installed all, ebay, bimmerbrakes, and technik gen 3
