I finally got mine the other day. Ordered from xcar360. It worked perfectly on my laptop running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Definitely worth the wait

So after clearing old codes these are the ones that stayed.

After doing some research turns out the 4 codes below are normal and are not suppose to be seen. Hidden trouble codes that aren't really any trouble.

DME -> Shadow-memory:
5A/12 - Exhaust temperature before catalyst, bank 1, signal line, short circuit to negative
5C/12 - Exhaust temperature after catalyst, bank 1, signal line, short circuit to negative
5B/12 - Exhaust temperature before catalyst, bank 2, signal line, short circuit to negative
5D/12 - Exhaust temperature after catalyst, bank 2, signal line, short circuit to negative

Have no lights on the dash so Im not really worried about the ABS codes. I do need a wheel alignment so that could be why

ABS* -> 5E1A/C0 - CAN DME/DDE Signal Error.
5E19/C0 - CAN DME/DDE, engine torque not adjustable.
5E5B/40 - DSC push button pressed longer than 10 sec or Error.
5DF4/40 - Vehicle power < 9 Volt.
5E43/C0 - Steering angle sensor internal.

Same as the catalyst codes above. Hidden codes that mean nothing

LCM -> 16/01 - Turn lights switch / wire, short circuit to ground
17/01 - High beam / headlight flasher switch, short circuit to ground
Shadow-memory:
33/01 - Sidelight, front right
38/01 - Sidelight, front left
3E/01 - Rear fog light faulty

Was surprised to see how well my baby is doing. The live reading feature is awesome Defiantly worth the 1 month wait and worth the $40 bucks.

What I have done was the following.

Disabled stolen car key (main reason I got PA soft)
Disabled daytime running lights
Enabled automatic door lock when driving speed reaches 25k (Disabled by dealer 4 years ago)
Enabled all windows to open when holding the unlock key (rear weren't opening since I took it to the dealer 4 years ago, not sure why they disabled that as well )
Enabled the option to close all windows with the lock key (great feature to have)

I wouldnt worry about it....you got a aftermarket exhaust?

Oem comes with a flap in the back....if removed I think it will show that last code you got. Shadow ones I wouldnt worry about to much.

Yes pretty sure it comes with INPA. If it doesn't, that's not an issue as it is somewhere on the internet... Pm me if you can't find it. iirc it was on a Russian website.

Sorry if this post doesn't make sense. I am writing on a cell phone.

Grease Monkey,

To get the drivers to load, you have to have the cable connected to the car.

Those are engineering codes that do not apply to your car.

They can not be cleared.

Thanks Jfoj. My problem was that the PC would not automatically recognize the scanner was even plugged in.. I got it to load up just fine after that. I then went out and accomplished EVERYTHING that I wanted in just about 30 mins! HELL YA! Pa soft rocks.. I am sure I will need to fiddle with it a little more to get it right/ As far as some of the coding options. Thanks again guys. Awesome tool to have!

Hey fellas, off the top of your head, does anyone know if and how to program lights with this PA soft? I want the corners to be off and only used for blinking,, and use the side markers for the running lights..
Also I would like to be able to use fogs while in Highbeam... Thanks for any help.

Not possible with PA soft.
INPA is your friend for this type of coding.
