If you are referring to the turn signal lights being ON with the headlights, it cannot be done with PAsoft. You will need NCS for that.

This tool seemed good at first but it seems like the last group of us that bought them can't get them to work.

I ordered mine from Xcar360 on 11/29, said it was shipped out by HK post 12/13 and still waiting for delivery.
Edit: Picked it up from the Post office today 1/2/2013, needed a signature.

Scanner tool help needed
i am new to BMW. i have done lot of reading and got the scanner tool and everything setup very easily. but i am having the below problems and need your help on this. (please don't blast me like posting without reading or being noob. everybody is a noob at starting)
tool connected to car fine and gave some errors. some i was able to click on clear semi-confidentally but some i couldnt dare to. can you tell me if i can clear these errors?? also i have below problems, any help is appreciated - even when i reprogram for optical acknowledgement when i unlock and lock, the lights are not blinking when doing the same - i want to auto lock the car when it reaches 8kmph but the option is disabled, how to enable it? - i am unable to reset the oil service, getting the error message "unable to reset oil service", why ? ![]() - after first scan i was able to see 6 errors in DME module. but when i reopened the tool, the scan says that it couldn't find DME, what happened ? :O . car works fine anyhow. Thanks for your help in advance |

Then check the optical confirmation boxes. It needs to "think" the car is equipped with the factory alarm. Last edited by shovelit; 12-29-2012 at 04:48 PM. |

>> i want to auto lock the car when it reaches 8kmph but the option is disabled,
>> how to enable it? Basically this setting is "per key", so you need to check-mark "after starting key 1 through 4", *then* select the desired speed it will lock at. |

I haven't tried the oil reset with PA Soft, but yeah, the software is buggy and doesn't always work. For example, I couldn't clear the codes history (inactive codes) from some of the modules.
BTW, oil service reset is really easy to do manually: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=331 |

These are non-active codes from the code history marked in yellow. On some modules they erase just fine, but some do not. For example, I had my car on a dyno for smog test, which set off the wheel speed sensor codes. I cannot erase these non-active "yellow" codes with PA Soft -- they are just sitting there in code history. Same for the ABS code.

Thanks, I'm having issues and I might just disable them instead of messing with resistors.
Pretty tought for the LED's to really die on me anyway I would assume.
