It's hard to know where the issue(s) lies. Chris has been vague with the progress and Jason can't post here. I feel for you man..but knowing John... He'll see it through.

You where tricked with this turbo "kit".
My recommendation is to buy an used unlocked AEM which will not cost you much and at least you benefit from the investment made in the car.

When they fix PRO EFI you just sell the AEM...

The Z4M uses a different DME. Unfortunately.

Yes, i have i got a reply that those fault codes were common for my application.

Basar was going to buy a bunch of different components to assemble his own turbo setup because I wouldn't sell him a "Turbo Kit" until the car was running and it was a Plug 'n' Play Kit. At that point I offered to give him a hard parts kit in return with instructions on our E46 M3 Kit to make his life easier so he wouldn't have to fabricate so many components. He thought it was a good idea and I told him when we got the our Z4M running we would provide a Base MAP which we have yet been able to because of issues Pro EFI is still working out. Lutz also has a Z4M and im sure is dealing with the same things if they are even to the point we have been for the last 6-9 months.

Maybe Marcus or Trevor can comment on that?

If we get an Infinity before this is all figured out I have a really good feeling it will be going on this car so we have control of the situation but only time will tell. Chris and John are down at AEM right now getting Infinity training so its not a myth LOL. Hopefully well have some release dates soon

Basar and HPF are both talking with Jason it has nothing to do with the Forums.

seems your missing afew brain cells so ill spell it out for you....

me and many of the z4m community are looking forward to these kits...... as we DONT talk to jason outside these forums, this was one of the few places we could read into his product and him :-)

it seems their is clearly an issue with the prof-efi and the z4m, id for one would like to know what the issue is and when it likely to be rectified, zpost is populated but 1000s of Zeds lots of owners want an off the shelf turbo kit.... This is our only viable option.

so forget everyone else who talk to jason outside the forum...im talking about the people that dont ;-) get it now??

We have been working with Jason and ProEFI every week. I'm hoping we can get to the bottom of the issue soon so we can do full pulls on the dyno and on the street.

I have asked Jason about issues of Z4 and he said ''What problem?''

I am going to wait 2 more weeks and i am going to solve this on my own.

John has been working on this all week. We've installed the new box jason sent and it still doesn't work. We are providing scope traces as well. The car is still throwing a code. We hope to get this car running correctly soon. It is costing us a fortune debugging this system.

I agree Chris this was sold as "plug and play" system but it seems like it is a plug and pray system.

Lets hope for the best for both HPF and me. This is wasting both of our time.

I said 2 weeks but after i talked with Josh i will wait for one more month.

Then i guess i will go to motec. Time will tell.

Agreed. We will make this car work one way or another because I want to sell a "complete" Z4M turbo system.

Why motec why not go pectel, for what you need motec is way overboard in tech and price. pectel is only 4-5 fully decked out and it is way better than pro-efi or aem. Not to mention the tuner behind the product for pectel ( Neel from Apex speed tech) is head and shoulders above HPF or Pro-efi. do not believe me, check out Apex or Neel online and you will see Apex tunes for world champion race teams and wins! HPF and Pro-efi are not on the level that Neel is on period!!!! I mean for god sakes the proefi unit is based ( some would say copied) from Woodwards 13 year old commercial car tuning unit!

You are right i might go with pectel, infact i was going to buy Mert's ecu and harness which is pectel. He then decided to keep the ecu.

I will work on fuel system on my car i dont want to wait and do nothing.
