Believed it or not but I am waiting on u to pave the way on the 330 conversion.

That is my long term goal. I already got the majority of the 330 specific parts such as injectors, tb, fuel rail, coils, wire harness, and dme.

@ Flashtwosix; just finished upgrading the injectors, replacing the oil gonked DISA valve and getting a custom tune done to bring the M54B30 crankshaft, M54B30 injectors, Jim Conforti intake, Conforti injector, M52TUB28 head and SuperSprint in harmony with each other. My Sally-Sue is getting 209 Torque and 184 HP at the wheels. I think I'm almost done...

Step number 3 on the conversion chart: fuel filter, rail and 24#/hr injectors swap completed.

Started and idled slightly higher due to the increased fuel dump, but the adaptations should set in after a week of normal driving.

That is really impressive. I will post my dyno charts on Monday.

Do u have your dyno graph?

Lastly...where did u get a custom tune?

No CEL because of the Euro tune, but the car does store codes. I will check tomorrow. But it idles fine and throttle response is perfect.

However, there was an electrical connection on the 3/2 way valve from the M52tu set up that didn't have a place to get plugged into, but i'm not sure if it will have any effect on the driveavility of the car. Right now, top end is retarded quick. DISA opens and it just screams for more. Will report back with codes.

What were the factory torque/HP claims?

At the alignment shop and next stop is the dyno shop.

The tech took my car out for a test drive (alignment) and no one even explain the process to me or told me anything about a test drive.

I hate it when men assume that I don't know anything about cars.

Don't be so sensitive that you only think it's because you're a woman. Mechanics think lots of guys know nothing too. You have to prove yourself by talking about the cars.
Same applies to plumbers and electricians. I walk up to construction workers with a suit on and they speak slowly in stupid terms like I'm in second grade. I start talking to them using lots of trade terminology and they snap to!

Gotta agree. Those hoods always look like open weave european leather shoes.

I know what Flash is going to say "But my husband and I ski/bike/bungee jump/skydive/rock climb on a regular basis!"

But I know she's going for "the look." Hence the typical BMW rack guy (or in this case, girl) stickers showing he/her mods their car and is down with the stance/slammed BMW modding scene (which I'm sure she's not) oh and I just noticed the tow hook. Come on flash we expect so much more! (or less, in this case)

wow that was a waste of time and money. I feel like I have just been exploited.

The shop is one of those old school shop that does the alignment without those modern computer/lazer equipment. I didn't know this until I peaked through the service window.
they said that my car can't be aligned w/o a chamber kit. so i just told them to aligned it close to factory specs as much as possible.

they gave me no print out of my before and after alignment specs. I had to tell them to write down the after alignment specs but even that was tough for them since they didnt remember it. they had to guessimate.

honestly I think they have no idea what they are doing because they said that my chamber should be 0 degree and that my current setup is at -1 and making a big fuss out of this and this is why they keep on recommending a chamber kit for me.

this company has a great rep in Dallas among all the old school gear head and muscle car owner so I am shocked with my experience. oh well....live and learn I guess

Your chamber should definitely not be at zero. Chamber is non-adjustable anyway without chamber plates.

such a waste of time and money!!! I actually woke up early just so I can beat the dallas congested traffic so I can make my 8am appointment with them. I live like 30 miles away but left the house at 6:45am

anyhow...here is what they wrote on my sheet afte their alignment

Chamber:

Left -1
Right -7/8

Toe
1/16" for both

I don't have any experience or knowledge with alignments and alignment specs so I need to research and educate myself so I dont get exploited next time. I am just too trusting (or naive)
