Ah, gotcha gotcha. That's good to hear. Probably just oil pan gasket & oil pump nut would be my PM on the new motor going in. Many thanks Betty. I need to read up on how to remove the engine. Mr. E46Mango will be coming over my house to help me do this as well. That's some reassurance, haha.

Listen to Flash. She'll be the brains behind the job and I'll be the muscle

Make sure you get an MS45 (03+) engine. It'll make things simpler when its time to swap it over.

Brains & muscle, what more can I ask for? I am VERY excited for this job.

Perfect, I will keep that in mind!

Every one I know that upgraded their racks says the same.
Some of them even did it multiple times.
Wait... never mind.

i went to the dealership today to get an alignment (due to new steering rack) and the service guy made a comment on my MDCT. He said he like my shift knob and I reply back with "me too cuz it is short and hard."

the receptionist gave me the dirty look cuz she thought I was hitting on the guy.

FlashTwoSix sent me this info and asked me to share it with the forum. Looks like her car is making similar or more power than a ZHP.

"I ran 330maf and injectors using ms42 328 (sharked) map.

Fuel air is perfect. Idle is perfect.

Best numbers are: 210.2 HP and 227.4 TQ on an automatic.

I updated my automatic tranny (323i) software to handle the bigger HP and TQ. In the past the tranny would go into limp mode due to the extra torque.

I have found a way to get the tranny, 330injectors and MAF to work with ms42. I think my number is even higher than a stock 330 zhp"

Lots of young kids from OT ganged up on her/bullied her and she probably said some stuff to them she shouldn't have. Both sides had dirty hands.

From what I understand, those members got infractions while flash got banned. I don't know the full details as to who was punished how, but those are my opinions based on my observations.

Politics aside, she was a truly good member with great contributions. Fully Mango-approved.

I've disagreed with her heavily in the past including some heated exchanges, but I acknowledge and respect a contributing member when appropriate.
