Turbocharge my E36 sedan and doing it cheaply

What is my goal? Turbocharge my E36 sedan and do it cheaply as possible but also make it reliable, hip, cool, new, unique, fun...etc. Because I bought my 1996 328i sedan mainly for the M52 parts to swap into my E30, all I had left is nice body without engine, tranny and interior was so sun damaged that I just trough it away and was planning to dump the E36 but I just could not let go, so I needed everything and I needed it cheap. So imagine, I got a E36 rolling shell and I want nice interior and I want to turbo it, anybody would tell me, "please stop dreaming kid". So I went to local salvage insurance auction to get something for cheap to get my project going. Winning bid $4800 but I get all I need. So if I was to subtract the interior and the rest of the non engine related parts, my budget for turbocharging the E36 comes to only $2000, so with that much I got to make it all happen' imagine that and I have to do it all on limited tools and in the uncovered backyard.

This is all that is left of e90

Look above, I am on such a tight budget that I can't afford extra set of chinese jack stands, I had to use mexican jack stands on the rear

What is left to do?
Intercooler, piping, radiator fan, engine cooler, central locking, power windows, lights, A/C lines, wheel sensor retrofit for DSC

Video of it running:

good work haks, cic lol, i cant imagine you got 2 many tips from apollo, i think he spent 6 months mounting a dash.

e30 n54 almost done, electronically finished, BUT major issues with steering, downpipes and RHD, damn near joke.

good stuff bro.

p.s. ive got a dsc delete for the msd80 n54 (not 55). if anyone wants it let me know, its free

wow thats an epic engine swap. There was another guy here who tried swapping the n54 into an e46, but he couldnt due to clearance issue between the turbo and the frame rail. This would be a great swap into an e46. e46 m3 power and m54 fuel economy and a few tweaks you can almost have e90 m3 power.

Can't believe I didn't see this thread a month ago. Seriously impressive Haken, the wiring gave me a headache just staring at the pic.

Damn, you bumpers made me think OP updated this.

Looking at the pics again, it looks like he had to pound a bit on that passenger side strut tower.. I don't know how I feel about that.

My guess is that he took all of the wiring sensors and computers and the car is an 335i in a e36 shell. I am more interested if things like abs, dsc, a/c, going to work. Also other things like the secondary air pump and the engine clearance in the engine bay.

That's what I was referring to, all the extras that come with the new car, how did he manage that?

Just lay out the wiring and make the dash and the center console attach to the inside body of the car...
