Looking good! I generally am not a fan of AC Schnitzer but I've always liked those wheels.

Thanks Marcus, most ACS stuff is pretty awful alright, but the older style wheel
like type 2 and 3 look timeless in my opinion. The new wheel styles aren't good.

I would like an ACS muffler or something else, but I've decided not to spend any more on
mods...just maintaining it now.

Decided to get an ACS exhaust trim, undecided on it, but it goes with the other ACS bits

Undertook some DIY in between rain showers today, and sprayed the middle of the ACS exhaust trim black as it should be.

Small detail but makes a huge difference. 100% better

Timeless. I appreciate the evolution of the modding scene since the inception of e46s but god damn..my heart always skips a beat when I see 'classic' set ups.

Thank you, sir. The AE's are Umnitza Orion V2 4300k

Topaz is a great color, dunno about it being rare, but it might be in M3's

Took advantage of the sunshine and did a very quick clean and took some pics.
Very similar to the last lot, but I'm trying!

Thanks for the comments, love the seats too...they're heated too, so might not be too much lighter!

Ditched the Simota as I felt it was sapping power when driving at normal speeds. At high speed it was great though.

Changed it also as I'm going for a custom exhaust

Thanks!

I'm planning a custom stainless muffler and going to have the ACS tip welded on.

It'll sit perfect then!

So, ordered up a new AFE Stage 1 Pro Dry S kit on Friday, and it arrived today.
Seems nearly impossibly quick seeing as it was coming from the states to Europe.

Definitely an excellent quality piece of kit.

Supplied in the kit is a huge air filter, powder coated heat shield, brushed
aluminium lid for the kit, billet adaptor for the Maf and all the bits needed to fit.

The sound is louder, but deeper than the Simota I had on previously, and just
really gives the engine a great tone under load.

It uses the factory air intake snorkel too, so hopefully will let some more air in.

Not a cheap kit, but the quality is fantastic, and it's pretty much the best kit out
there by all accounts.

Some pics when I fitted it:

So how is the filter treating you so far and do you think you will add the optional pre filter soon?
