I've searched and have not found anyone with this issue or a fix. I noticed last night that the displayed time in the Navigation program on my 99+ is 5 hours early. It is correct on the radio side just the Nav is wrong. I haven't messed with any menus and until last night (at least the first time I noticed) it was correct. I went through the Nav menus and everything is correct. I have the correct time set and the right time zone yet it is still 5 hours early! The odd part is I purposely put in the wrong time and zone and it still displays the time 5 hours early, nothing changed. Has anyone had the same issue - and how do I fix it? Kind of a pain when you put in a destination and your arrival time is 5 hours off.....

Exit out of the nav program and set the time/time zone in the windows setup menu.

Jeff - I think that is what I'm doing. I've attached pictures of where I'm going to make sure it's correct. I hit the nav button, exit the program, go into settings, change clock and time zone, and restart the nav program - presto clock is now 7 hours off. I must be missing something....

Right, you just set the winCE system time, but now go into the igo primo nav menu, find the time settings and just tell it to automatically set the time and it should correctly set it based on your gps location.

Hi there, newbie here.

Today I had mine installed and it is streaming music from my iPhone5 very nicely, but how do I get the track display to show up on the unit itself?

Any help appreciated.

Tony.

bluetooth is streaming audio only connection, plug into the ipod plug if you want track info to display, on an iphone 5 you will need to use apple's lighting plug adapter.

Can anyone tell me if there is a Windows-based firmware update yet to start fixing all the nuisances???

Now definite answer here.....only to adjust the display controls to your liking. Remember that they are video display controls only, in general It seems to me the default settings usually look best.

Dynavin info......D99 (new for 2012)

Little troubleshooting help. Radio was working fine last night, but didn't turn on this morning. Not sure if the 0 degree weather helps but fuses 7 and 41 are just fine.

Gonna pull the radio out soon to check it out. Any other thoughts?

PM'ed Jeff but I might as well post up my issue in here in case anyone has experienced it. My Dynavin unit has zero power.

The steering wheel control box is the box that is connected to the Dynavin harness right? Yellow and black wires going through that box and it is spliced in to whatever wires in the harness.

Anyways, the 15 amp inline fuse inside that tiny little box blew. I replaced it with a brand new one, and that blew the second I put power to the unit. Factory radio is in temporarily and works fine, so there isn't any issues with the OEM harness and wiring/fuses. I'm wondering what is causing that fuse to bow.

Fuse inside that box looks like this

I'll get some pics up tomorrow since i have a few questions about the wiring and what is what. Also, on the D95 WinCe, I am not using any of the wires for the A/V in/out, amp, back up camera, etc. Pretty much all of these

I didn't take a close look since i just wanted to fix my nav tonight, but are those wiring harnesses able to be removed on the D95? I've seen pics of people unboxing the units and those wires have their own harness and are separated from the unit when shipped out new. Not sure if that is for the newer models or not. If so, I need to remove them to get some more space in the back.

Going to take another whack at trying to solve this issue tomorrow. Thanks in advance if anyone have any input. I'll post some pics soon.

first off....are you sure you have a D95??? As I recall only the D90s (called "V5" around here) had the inline fuse box on the harness....

With the dynavin unplugged and just the harness plugged into the car, put a new fuse in and see if it blows. If so there is a short in the fuse box, ive seen that before on the older D90 harnesses.

If thats what happens then just cut the fuse box out and splice the power wires back together. That fuse box is redundant as the cars wire harness is already fused, and the unit itself is fused. In fact dynavin eliminated it on newer models.

Thanks Jeff... i guess it is a D90 then. I didn't purchase it originally. I'll send you a pic to make sure that this "box" doesn't need to be there and if I need to remove it, well then that will be easy.

The box you are talking about.....is it maybe the ibus interface box? Its the part that handles the steering wheel controls, on the older models it had a 3.5MM plug coming out of it that plugged into the IR IN plug on the dynavin.

Soooo......did your steering wheel controls work? Or maybe it came loose when you pulled the unit out?

correct.....

TO FUTURE READERS OF THIS THREAD: THE ABOVE PIC AND ADVICE IS ABOUT AN OLD DYNAVIN D90 UNIT, NOT RELEVANT TO ANYTHING MADE IN YEARS, AND NOT RELEVANT TO THE SUBJECT OF THIS THREAD (DYNAVIN D99).

dont want this to cause any confusion in the future.....
